The Liberals and Progressive Conservatives are accusing each other of politicizing sexual assault. Tory Leader Jamie Baillie says the promise to hire two special prosecutors for those cases will see more time spent training other lawyers than prosecuting. Liberals reveal Advance NS plan
The Liberals have announced their Advance Nova Scotia plan. More than $80 million would be invested over the next four years in social programs. They include introducing a Standard Household rate for those on income assistance, increasing that working threshold to $250 a month without penalty, and expanding eligibility for the Heating Assistance Rebate Program.
