The Liberals have announced their Advance Nova Scotia plan. More than $80 million would be invested over the next four years in social programs. They include introducing a Standard Household rate for those on income assistance, increasing that working threshold to $250 a month without penalty, and expanding eligibility for the Heating Assistance Rebate Program.
