A man out walking his dog in Dartmouth returned home to find armed intruders in house on Saturday morning. Halifax police say the man returned to his home on Windmill Road shortly after 8am and was confronted by a man with a gun. The man ran outside and yelled for help and told police he saw three men running from his home. The suspects fled in a dark coloured SUV. A quantity of alcohol was taken from the home. Police say they do not believe it was a random act. The suspects are described as three thin black men all wearing dark pants and hoodies.

Windsor Man Sentenced to 40 Months for Fraud
A man from Windsor has been sentenced to more three years in prison after pleading guilty to 20 fraud related charges. 42-year-old Scott Gray was sentenced to 40 months behind bars this week. Gray’s crimes included defrauding neighbors when he lived in Bedford, selling cars he didn’t own, and failing to register as a sex offender. He also targeted a number of businesses in other scams, As part of Gray’s sentence he was also ordered to pay more than 14-thousand-dollars in restitution to Kingston Auto, more than 24-thousand to Carquest and thousands more to his other victims.
