A new survey has the Nova Scotia Liberals still on top of our preferred political parties. New Corporate Research Associates data has 40% of decided voters supporting them, down from 44% in February. The PC Party are at 29% from 28%, while the NDP had a big jump to 28% support from 23%. The Green Party went down to 2% support, from 5%.

Man charged with sexual assault after Dartmouth hotel incident
Police have charged a man for a sexual assault that occurred Monday night in Dartmouth.
Just before 9:30 p.m. on Monday, a man staying in a hotel in Dartmouth requested that an item be delivered to his room. A male hotel employee in his twenties delivered the item and the man asked him to put it in the room. While the employee was leaving the room, the suspect touched him in a sexual manner over his clothing. The employee reported the incident to another hotel employee who then called police.
A Halifax District RCMP officer arrested a 26-year-old man from Mississauga Ontario at 1 p.m. in a hotel on Pratt & Whitney Drive in Enfield without incident. He was transported to Halifax Regional Police Headquarters and has been charged with one count of sexual assault and has since been released. He is scheduled to appear in Dartmouth Provincial Court on July 18 to answer to this charge.
