The Friends of Halifax Common have written another letter voicing concerns about the proposed soccer stadium. Addressed to HRM, it says the group has no opposition to the overall talks with Sports Entertainment Atlantic, but wants more measured engagement on the municipal end. Concerns include not properly addressing noise levels, parking and beyond; the Wanderers’ Grounds already being heavily used and more.

NSLC year-end results
The NSLC has released its year-end results. Net income was $239.2 million on $611.8 million in total sales for April 1st, 2016 to March 31st. That’s down $2 million from the previous year, and the total volume of alcohol sold was down 1%. Nova Scotia wine, spirits and craft beer all went up though. You can see full results at mynslc.com.
