A Dartmouth man wasn’t seriously hurt in an attempted home invasion yesterday afternoon.
Two masked men with a gun tried to force their way into a residence on Brule Street but the resident fought them off despite being hit in the head with a gun. The pair fled empty-handed.
One man is in hospital with serious injuries and another in custody after an incident in Lunenburg.
RCMP say the victim was airlifted to hospital in Halifax from a residence on Linden Street. Police surronded the residence and there was a brief standoff until the suspect was arrested.
RCMP aren’t saying anything about the nature of the injuries but neighbours said it was a stabbing.
