New Brunswick’s first fast charging station for electric vehicles has been unveiled.
N-B Power and Irving Oil commissioned the station for the Irving Big Stop in Lincoln.
Other charging stations are planned for Irving Oil locations in Aulac, Salisbury, Saint-Andre, Youngs Cove, Woodstock and Moncton.
Fast chargers can recharge the batteries of electric vehicles up to 80 per cent in about 30 minutes.
New Brunswick says the abortion pill Mifegymiso is now available free of charge in the province.
The pill is approved for the medical termination of a pregnancy up to 49 days.
Health Canada authorized the pill in 2015 and it became available on the market in January, but New Brunswick Health Minister Victor Boudreau says the province is among the first in Canada to provide universal access.
Other provinces such as Ontario, Quebec, Manitoba and Alberta have said they plan to offer the pill free of charge.
