Provincial funding for Dumont Hospital
The provincial government is investing nearly $21.3 million to continue work on the addition of the new surgical suite at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre in Moncton. The surgical suite project consists of a single-storey addition with a basement and renovations at the north end of the hospital. The expansion will house a new surgical suite, recovery room, a day surgery unit, an intensive care unit, a step-down unit, physiotherapy and occupational therapy, and central sterile reprocessing.
