Aggravated Assault

The Shediac RCMP is asking the public’s help in locating a man wanted in connection with an aggravated assault.

In the early morning hours of March 7, 2017, the Shediac RCMP responded to an incident in Trois-Ruisseaux, N.B. where a female was assaulted and sustained serious injuries. She was transported to hospital and is recovering from her injuries.

Twenty-two year old Jean-François Mallet, of Shediac, N.B., is charged with aggravated assault, mischief and breach of a probation order. An arrest warrant was issued on March 9, and police have been unable to locate him.

Heritage Fairs

Twelve regional heritage fairs will happen throughout New Brunswick in April and May. Students from more than 154 participating schools will present hands-on, multi-media presentations about Canadian people, legends, milestones and achievements. One student from each fair will be picked to attend June’s Provincial Showcase.
