Police are looked for a Shediac man wanted for aggravated assault. RCMP say 22-year-old Jean-Francois Mallet has been charged with aggravated assault, mischief and breaching probation and warrant has been issued for his arrest. Mallet has been charged in connection with the assault of a woman in Trois Ruisseaux on March 7th that left the victim with serious injuries. Mallet is described as five foot six, 130 pounds, with blond hair, blue eyes and a medium build. Police believe their are people in the community that may know his whereabouts. Unemployment Rate Unchanged in NB
New Brunswick unemployment went unchanged in February. The 8.9% mark is the same as January, with the province only ahead of Newfoundland and Labrador and PEI. Stats Can says the national rate went down 0.2% to 6.6%.
