The province has announced more than $160 million over the next four years for innovation, research and development. The money will go towards open data, smart grid technology, startups and entrepreneurs, education and research, and the Canadian Institute for Cybersecurity, among other things.

New Brunswickers very worried about provincial debt: CRA survey
A new survey says New Brunswickers are quite worried about the province’s debt, which is projected to hit over $14 billion by next year. Corporate Research Associates found the average rating of concern was 7.6 out of 10. 61% picked between 8-10, while 42% picked 10 out of 10.
