Campbellton death threat ruling

40 year old James Byers Roberts of Campbellton, who spent nine years in prison due to a manslaughter conviction; was sentenced to four months in jail for threatening his wife.

Court also heard that Roberts could drink as many as 60 beers in a day.

He was also upset over the deaths of his father, along with his best friend.

In January, his wife told him she wanted a divorce; to which he replied that he would kill her before she could leave him.
