Police are investigating after several firearms were stolen from a home in Memramcook Village that later caught fire. RCMP were called to the home on Chemin Pre D’en Haut on Wednesday morning. The house was on fire and it was determined several guns had been stolen from the residence. Police say the fire may have been deliberately set.

Wanted Man in Saint John Arrested in Stolen Vehicle
A 28-year-old man was arrested after police pulled over a stolen vehicle in uptown Saint John on Saturday morning. Police spotted the vehicle on Carmarthen Street around 2:30am. The telegraph journal reports that the car was stolen earlier in the week. A 28-year-old man was arrested for possession of a stolen vehicle. Police later learned the man was also wanted on unrelated charges of assault and threats.
