The province has announced $335,000 for the expansion of Les Résidences Line Ferguson. It’ll get four additional residence rooms, office space, a larger dining area and kitchen, and new multi-purpose room. The Tracadie-Sheila facility specializes in services for adults with autism.

Out-of-province company to provide NB road salt
New Brunswick roads won’t be treated with provincial salt next winter. A two-year, $30.7 million contract has been given to K+S Windsor Salt, the national company that’s based out of Pugwash, NS for this region. That ends Penobsquis-based Cargill’s run as the province’s supplier.
