EMO is keeping an eye on three ice jams, but says there’s no major threat of flooding so far. They’re in the Tobique River near Arthurette, Saint John River near Hartland and Southwest Miramichi River near Doaktown.

Restigouche icebreaker
A Coast Guard hovercraft is now in the Restigouche area.
The ice-breaking hovercraft goes as far up the river as the Matapedia bridge, breaking up the river ice; to prevent flooding caused by ice jams.
