Atlantic Canadians have identified the top 10 Worst Roads in the region. CAA’s annual campaign saw more than 7000 votes cast. Four New Brunswick roads made the list: Pine Glen Road in Riverview at No. 2, Dawson Road in Hillsborough at No. 5, Route 105 in Upper Kent at No. 6, and Route 616 in Keswick Ridge at No. 9. Mountain Road in Christmas Island/Eskasoni, NS was No. 1.

NB now has Canada’s oldest population
New Brunswick now has the oldest population in Canada. New Stats Can 2016 numbers has our number of 65+-year-olds at 19.92%. The province just takes over from Nova Scotia, which has 19.9%. New Brunswick’s seniors population was at 16.5% in 2011.
