Lobster pound to be built in Val-Comeau

The former Club aquatique site in Val-Comeau will become a lobster pound.  Les Pêcheries de Chez-Nous has leased 2.7 hectares of Crown land, which has been vacant since 2010.  The new pound will let the company accommodate surplus lobster, and add up to 105 seasonal jobs.  The province is putting in $250,000 for the $2.3 million project.
