Starting tomorrow applications will be accepted for the 2017 Moose hunting licence draw in New Brunswick. The provincial energy and resource development department says 4,635 licences will be available for the 2017 Moose hunting season – which runs from September 26th to the 30th. Last year more than 60,000 people applied for 4,643 licences. A total of 3,435 moose were successfully harvested. Hopeful moose hunters have until June 9th to apply for the draw.

Drive By Shooting in Saint John
Saint John Police are investigating after a drive-by shooting that damaged a home in the north end of the city on Saturday morning. The shooting damaged siding and a window at a home on Park Street shortly after 8am. A resident of the home told police the shot was fired from a red or burgundy coloured vehicle.
