After 10 weeks in operation, the River Watch Program for the 2017 freshet season is done today. Water levels along the St. John River basin are returning to normal. The overall program continues all year, to monitor during heavy rainfall.

Listuguj pushing for bigger role in national historic site
Listuguj First Nation wants a bigger role in the Battle of the Restigouche National Historic Site. The Tribune reports the community is in talks with Parks Canada to either acquire it or run it together. This would allow for more perspective from a Mi’gmaq standpoint.
