RCMP in New Brunswick are warning people to be aware of scam emails pretending to be from the RCMP. RCMP say they’ve received numerous complaints relating to the scams, which usually involved email purporting to be from the RCMP demanding payment for traffic violations. The RCMP says they do not use email to collect fines. Anyone who receives one of the emails is being advised not to reply and to report it to the Canadian Anti-Fraud Centre.
