The feds will spend 142 million dollars of taxpayers money over two years to hire more workers at the Miramichi Pay Center.
Pay transactions have backed up under the new Phoenix system, leaving tens of thousands of public servants underpaid; overpaid or not paid at all.
There are about 600 people working at the Miramichi centre right now.
The Board of Directors of the Campbellton Sports Hall of Fame, wishes to announce the inductees to the Hall of Fame for the year 2017.
On Friday, June 30th, at 6:00 pm, Lionel Ahier, as a builder, the 2004-2005 Campbellton McDonald Midget AAA Tigers as a team and Steven Arnold Firlotte, as a player will be inducted at the 29th Annual Induction Ceremonies of the Campbellton Sports Hall of Fame. The induction ceremony and celebrity dinner will take place at the Memorial Regional Civic Centre.
