The province is investing $3 million for improvements to the Charlo Dam. It’ll be used to restore and repair the toe of the dam to ensure future stability. Donald Arseneault, the minister responsible for the Regional Development Corporation, says this guarantees reliable water for Dalhousie residents and provides new economic growth opportunities.

Summer powwows to be hosted by NB First Nations
New Brunswick First Nation communities will host a series of annual summer powwows. One of the biggest is the Fisherman’s Powwow at Waterford Green Park in Miramichi, which goes over two days starting July 1st. You can see a list of powwows here:
