The Campbellton Centennial Library will celebrate its 50th anniversary with a ceremony on Friday June 30th at 11am, everyone is invited.
You can also see displays that show the first 50 years of the library’s existence.
A cold buffet and cake will be offered during lunch time.
Andrew Case of Saint John is getting closer to his dream of becoming a major league baseball pitcher.
He recently got a call from his manager with the Single-A Dunedin Blue Jays that he would be getting promoted to the Double-A New Hampshire Fisher Cats.
In 15 and a third innings with the Fisher Cats, he’s 4-and oh; with a 1.76 earned-run average, holding opponents to a mere .193 batting average against.
His next step would be the Triple-A Buffalo Bisons.
