The national average is $27.70, with Wood Buffalo-Cold Lake in northeastern Alberta having the highest average at $36.50.

Provincial funding for Salmon Plaza fountain
The province is investing $150,000 to fix up the Salmon Plaza fountain in downtown Campbellton. The funding is in honour of Canada 150, with fountain centrepiece Restigouche Sam being the world’s largest stainless steel salmon at 28 feet tall.
