A local man sought in a domestic dispute and arson has been arrested in Miramichi. Cumberland County RCMP tipped off city police that the 35-year-old suspect might be there. He was also found to be in possession of meth when arrested.

Seven new high schools in Nova Scotia will become Skilled Trades Centres. They provide stronger links between the classroom and working world, and more opportunities to pursue trades. New Skilled Trades Centres will be found at Amherst High School among others.
