An Amherst company pitches-in

Terri-Lynn Yeomans, the owner of Slice Soapworks in Amherst; is stepping up to help regarding the fundraising drives of schools and charities.

Her soaps and oils are being sold to assist those drives, as sales will earn the seller 50 per cent of the total value sold.

Joggins event

On Saturday, April 22nd; the Joggins Fossil Institute will have an exhibition by Laurell Hamilton called “Explorations in Acrylic.”

Hamilton paints in acrylic, pastel; and coloured pencil.

She is a partner in the Tidnish Art Gallery Co-op, a member of Visual Arts Nova Scotia, and other organizations.
