The North Cumberland ER in Pugwash will have a day closure on Monday due to a doctor shortage. That’s along with the South Cumberland ER in Parrsboro being closed during the day Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Cumberland County women and children fleeing domestic violence will have new second-stage affordable housing to go to. Up to $292,000 has been committed by the provincial and federal governments for a new duplex. Autumn House will manage construction.
