A piece of surgical equipment at the Cumberland Regional Health Care Centre is going to be replaced with money from the upcoming Highland Fling.
It will take place this Saturday at the Amherst Curling Club.
The piece of equipment will be used for various types of surgery including thyroid, parathyroid; skin cancer and general surgery.
The Maple Players Drama Group has provided 35 years of theatre in Oxford.
As of late, there have been no productions.
The not-for-profit organization must decide whether they will revive their production, or shut down the group.
There will be a general meeting on Tuesday, May 16th at 7pm in the conference room at the Oxford Regional Education Centre.
