A Nappan man has been sentenced for impaired driving. 41-year-old Donovan Alan Gaudet got a $1300 fine and one-year driving ban. He pleaded guilty to the February 5th incident in Amherst.

Cumberland ATV lesson
Cumberland RCMP detachment officer Terry Brown is using his close call last summer to educate people about the importance of ATV safety.
Last July, Brown and his girlfriend were in a serious crash.
When the ATV crashed, it threw his girlfriend from the vehicle and crushed him underneath.
Aimee Maillet was knocked out, and Brown suffered four broken vertebrae and other injuries.
The cause of the accident was a section of bridge that had dropped down, flipping the ATV.
