Work has started on a foundation to support public libraries in Cumberland County.
With funding pretty well frozen, library boards have to find other ways to raise money for programs and services.
The seven libraries in the county are dealing with challenging times due to staff requirements and distances.
The Maple Players Drama Group has provided 35 years of theatre in Oxford.
As of late, there have been no productions.
The not-for-profit group must decide whether they will revive their productions, or shut down the group.
There will be a general meeting tonight at 7 at the Oxford Regional Education Centre.
