The NSGEU is filing for arbitration regarding Civil Service bargaining. President Jason MacLean says they went to conciliation in April but that didn’t help. Bargaining has gone on for a year and a half, with Civil Service members rejecting the government’s final offer in December.

Tories would invest to ensure all Nova Scotians have at-home cancer meds
The Progressive Conservatives would invest $1.8 million a year for at-home cancer medications. A Jamie Baillie government wants to ensure the gap for their coverage is closed, as at-home treatments aren’t covered. It would be available to all Nova Scotians, regardless of insurance status or income level.
