A new Liberal government would create an Innovation Rebate Program to help expansion of small and medium-sized businesses. Those eligible would receive rebates of up to 15% for capital investments between $3 million and $15 million. Beyond the rebate, the party would direct the NSLC and Department of Finance to adopt policies that encourage more growth in local wine, distilling and craft beer.

Ecology Action Centre wants more focus on coastal protection
The Ecology Action Centre is pleased the PC Party included modernizing and extending the Environmental Goals and Sustainable Prosperity Act in its election platform. However, it points out a lack of action to protect coastal residents and properties, or ecosystems that are integral to shorelines. The Centre encourages revisiting emission targets, to ensure the province is a leader in that regard.
