Amherst stunting case

A 22-year-old Springhill man has been charged with dangerous driving, evading police and damage to property due to an incident on April 27th in Amherst.

Police at first got a report of a vehicle being damaged while parked at a local lounge, then; the suspects took off in a black Ford Focus.

As officers dealt with the initial call another unit saw a vehicle northbound on Hickman Street that speeded up to evade police.

A short time later that vehicle got into a single car crash on the Little Forks Road.
