A new poll suggests the Nova Scotia election race is tightening. New Mainstreet data has the Liberals at 37 per cent of decided and leaning voters, down three points. The Tories are up four points to 34, while the NDP went up one to 25. The Greens went down a point to 4 per cent.

Yarmouth weight loss
A Yarmouth resident will be honoured for his weight loss. Ervin Olsen took part in the Take Off Pounds Sensibly or TOPS Club, which holds its Provincial Recognition Days next weekend in Truro. He lost 50 pounds, and the nonprofit organization will name him Nova Scotian King. Check out tops.org for more.
