This Saturday, the annual Kidney Foundation Golf Tournament will be at the Amherst Golf Club.
There are three hole-in-one prizes consisting of a vehicle from Cumberland Honda, a vehicle from Jim Hatheway Ford; and a $10,000 cash prize from Archway Insurance.
It’s a 1 p.m. shotgun start.

The health authority has agreed to meet with Lionel Desmond’s immediate family next week.
The move comes almost six months after the former soldier klilled his family and himself in Upper Big Tracadie.
One of Desmond’s sisters, Chantel, confirms the authority will meet with them at St. Martha’s Hospital in Antigonish to review how the province’s health-care system dealt with Desmond before the killings.
