A 30-year-old man and a 25-year-old man, both from Amherst; have been charged regarding incidents on June 12 and June 15 in Amherst.

On June 12 the 30-year-old roughed-up the 25-year-old with a wooden table leg outside a Spring Street address.

Then on June 15 the 25-year-old assaulted the 30-year-old with a baseball bat outside a Crescent Street address in a revenge attack.

People in the Wentworth Valley are upset by watching clear cutting, which created a bald spot on the hillsides above their houses.

The bald spot is on the western slopes directly across from Ski Wentworth.

Some people are worried that the loggers will clear the ridge all the way to Folly Lake.
