A pair of Sussex Middle School students, Alyssa Jeffrey and Eve Bustin; placed in the top three of the French language national writing competition called the “Moments Tournament.”
Jeffrey took third place and Bustin was first.
Both wrote about the experience of losing someone close to them.
Bustin and Jeffrey will be going into Grade 9 at Sussex Regional High School in the fall.
