Zach Newman, along with his cousin Jared MacDonald; and coach Mark Lobban of Miramichi, will be representing New Brunswick in baseball at the Canada Games in Winnipeg.
Julian MacDonald of Napan, and Rylan Matchett of Trout Brook are also on the team.
Other athletes in various sports are Jennifer Bell, Laura Dickinson; Garret Dickson, Emilie Scholfied; and Sydney MacDonald of Miramichi, Isabelle Morris of Bellefond; Jarod Manuel of Baie-Sainte-Anne, Alexander Williston of Bay du Vin; Kassidy Hamilton of Derby Junction, Kyle Pond of Parker Ridge; and Terrie and Jessie Savoie Robichaud of Lagacéville.
The games get underway this Saturday.
