Canada’s First Female Astronaut Receives Degree from CBU

The first Canadian woman in space received an honourary degree from Cape Breton University on Saturday. Roberta Bondar, who spent 8 days in space on the shuttle discovery in 1992 was awarded a Doctors of Letters Degree at a ceremony held at the Bell Museum in Baddeck.
