Veterinarians in Colchester have some comments on distemper and are reminding you to get your pet vaccinated.
Two dogs recently brought to Nova Scotia from Cuba died from distemper.
The dogs were taken to the Metro Animal Emergency Clinic in Halifax in late June.
They had not been vaccinated for distemper before coming to Canada.
