Technical problems have forced the MV Confederation Ferry to be pulled from service between Nova Scotia and PEI today. In a release Northumberland Ferries Ltd says they’re experiencing an issue with the ferry’s propulsion system controls. It’s not clear how long the repairs will take. The removal of the Confederation from service will mean reduced crossing and potential delays. The remaining ferry servicing the route, the MV Holiday, will now be making five crossings each way per day.
