Prime Minister Trudeau was given the rock star treatment at a concert in Europe.
He and wife Sophie are in Germany for the G-20 summitt but they were the ones getting the biggest cheers when they walked on stage to introdu ce the ban Coldplay at the Global Citizens Festival concert in Hamburg. Before introducing the band, Trudeau to time to stress the need for equality for women and girls around the world, an issue he will bring up at this weekend’s summit.
The Trudeaus were welcomed by huge cheers while the mere mention of Donald Trump or Vladimir Putin drew lots of booing.
