Port of Sydney’s MacNeil still recovering after Howie Centre accident that killed mother

A well-known Cape Breton resident is recovering from serious injuries following that three-vehicle crash on Highway 4 in Howie Centre late last week.

Bernadette MacNeil, director of cruise and marketing for the Port of Sydney, was last reported still unconscious in hospital. Her 90 year old mother died in the crash. No one else was injured.
