A group of Amherst Rotarians recently set out from the Amherst town boundary on a 25-kilometre walk to Camp Tidnish.
The accessible camp is owned and operated by Easter Seals Nova Scotia.
It provides a summer camping experience to children and adults with physical and intellectual challenges.
The Rotarians are hoping to raise $30,000 to put up a new building for the camp’s archives as well as extra space for camp staff.
