A Moncton doctor was awarded a medal of bravery by Governor general David Johnston in a ceremony in Moncton yesterday.
Dr. Marc Savoie was driving with his family in Quebec when he saw a motorcyclist who collided with a moose. The dazed man was wandering into traffic on the highway and Savoie pulled him to safety just before a big transport truck roared by.
