Crime Stoppers and Northeast RCMP are still investigating a two-year-old fatal accident in Savoie Landing. A motorcyclist was hit around 2:25 the morning of June 13th, 2015 on Route 113. He and another motorcycle riding with him collided, and then the victim was hit by a vehicle coming the other way after he fell on the road. That driver stopped but then left, and is thought to have been a man in his 50s who was wearing glasses and had a small moustache. The vehicle is described as a small, dark-coloured, newer model car. It may have sustained some damage on the driver’s side and/or the undercarriage as a result of the collision.
