Stoffer on Desmond case

Veterans advocate Peter Stoffer is calling on both provincial and federal gtovernments to hold a public inquiry into the triple murder-suicide in Upper Big Tracadie.

Stoffer, a former NDP MP, told the CBC what happened to Lionel Desmond and his family screams out for a public inquiry. He has written letters to the defence minister as well as Premier McNeil pointing out the many system failures that caused Desmond, the Afghan war vet with PTSD to kill his family.
