The aging buildings at the Penobsquis mine site, will be torn down; starting next month.
The $2 billion Picadilly mine was shut down by Potash Corp in January of 2016 due to low potash prices, throwing over 400 people out of work.
Picadilly has a skeleton crew on site in case PotashCorp decides to reopen it down the road.
Penobsquis is being taken apart.
