The new downtown events centre now has a boss.
The city has hired Nick Deluco from Kingston, Ontario, where he managed the Rogers K-Rock Centre.
DeLuco told CBC he’ll be looking after everything including the naming rights for the new arena which won’t be open for another year. He’ll also be looking at parking problems and transportation issues for the entertainment complex. Among his priorities is a lease for the Wildcats of the Q-League.
