Some people want a change to a Miramichi bylaw that stops them from using rollerblades, skateboards; and longboards on the roads in Miramichi.
Scooters and bicycles are exempt.
Mayor Adam Lordon told The Leader that he thinks the bylaw needs a review.
Lordon added that he is aware of the petition, and they are welcome to make an official request to council to amend or repeal the bylaw.
